Jonathan Moore

Having trained as a photographer my passion is for the subject – architecture. The camera is just a tool for capturing the building and as such the photographic process should never overwhelm the subject. Capturing light, texture, and form is the key to successfully illustration and exploration. Having worked in this area for over sixteen years I have knowledge of architecture and building structure, but more importantly, an understanding of how a building works visually and its design philosophy.

As you have seen / are about to see, the work in this portfolio is of high quality architectural photography; I work solely in the areas of architecture and interior design. Although based near Bristol, the majority of my work is in Central London with the remainder throughout the UK and Europe. My clients range from architects, designers and PR agencies through to the specialised magazines such as ‘RIBA Journal’, ‘Architecture Today’, and ‘The Architects Journal’. Additionally my work is show in architectural exhibitions throughout the UK and published in books worldwide.
